Using EditText
EditText.ai helps you change text in images. By using the service, you agree to these Terms. You must be legally able to accept them and authorized to act for any organization you represent.
Sign in with your own Google account. Keep access secure, provide accurate information and do not use multiple accounts to bypass limits or repeat free trials.
Your content and responsibility
You keep your existing rights in uploaded content. You must have permission to upload, edit and use it. You allow us and our service providers to process it as needed to carry out your requests and operate the service.
You are solely responsible for the content you submit, the changes you request, checking the result and how you use or share it, subject to responsibilities the law does not allow either party to exclude. Processing an image does not mean we approve it or certify its authenticity.
Prohibited uses
Do not use EditText for fraud, forgery, impersonation, infringement or other unlawful activity. Never present an edited image as authentic evidence when it is not.
Do not deceptively create or alter passports, government IDs, visas, licenses, certificates, diplomas, or financial, medical, employment or legal records. This also covers signatures, seals and security marks, and attempts to bypass identity, age or eligibility checks. Official corrections belong with the authorized issuer.
Lawful creative work and clearly fictional mockups are permitted when you have the necessary rights and do not mislead others. Do not upload malware, access another user’s private files or bypass security, payment or usage controls. A subscription or watermark removal never authorizes prohibited use.
Subscriptions and credits
Current prices, credit allowances, quality costs and trial conditions appear on the pricing page and at checkout. Review them before purchasing. Credits measure service use and have no cash value, except where law requires otherwise.
Subscriptions renew monthly until canceled through the billing portal. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period. Unused credits do not roll over. Signing out or deleting an image does not cancel a subscription.
Confirmed technical failures release reserved credits under the applicable billing-period rules; uncertain processing may require review. Statutory cancellation and refund rights remain. Material price changes will be communicated in advance, with any cancellation opportunity or consent required by law.
Results and service availability
AI can misread text or change unintended details. Check every result and keep important originals. We do not guarantee a specific result, uninterrupted availability, or that generated content is unique or free of third-party rights. Mandatory consumer protections still apply.
EditText’s software, branding and service materials remain the property of their respective owners. These Terms permit use of the service, not unauthorized resale or ownership of it.
Misuse and suspension
We may reasonably restrict content or access to address misuse, nonpayment, security risks or legal requirements. Where lawful and practical, we will explain the reason and allow review. Urgent risks may require immediate action.
Liability
To the extent lawful, you are responsible for reasonable third-party claims directly caused by your unlawful content or prohibited use. This does not cover our own fault or transfer obligations the law places on us.
We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or for lost business profits from consumer use, where law permits. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including fraud, legally protected personal injury claims, or mandatory consumer and data-protection rights.
Changes to these Terms
We will communicate material changes and their effective date, giving advance notice or seeking renewed agreement where required. Changes do not remove rights that have already arisen.
