About EditText.ai
EditText.ai is a web tool for changing the text inside images. Upload a photo, poster, screenshot or product image, then edit the words, translate them or remove them. The new text is drawn to follow the original lettering, color and background, and the aim is to leave the rest of the picture as it was.
How it works
Upload an image
Sign in with Google and upload your image. EditText.ai reads the text in it and lists each line it finds.
Choose what changes
Type new words for the lines you want to change, pick a language to translate into, or select the lines to remove. Standard suits everyday edits; High quality costs more credits and suits detailed lettering.
Check and download
Compare the result with your original, then download it as a PNG. Your original stays saved in My images.
Free and paid
Every account includes one free Standard edit, and its result carries a watermark. After that, paid monthly plans give you credits to spend on edits; see the Pricing page for the plans.
Principles
- Your images stay private to your account. Other visitors cannot see them, and you can delete an image you no longer want saved. To do the work, your image and instructions are sent to our AI processing providers; the Privacy Policy explains what that involves.
- Honest limits. AI can misread small, blurry or handwritten text, and it can change details near the text it redraws. Results vary, so compare the result with your original and check it before you use or share it.
- Your own work, honestly edited. EditText.ai is for images you have the right to edit. It is not for altering documents, removing watermarks or logos, or making edits meant to mislead. The Usage policy page has the details.
