Information we use
We use Google account details, uploaded images, detected and replacement text, editing instructions and saved results. We also process usage, subscription and payment-status records, plus connection information needed to operate the service.
Google handles sign-in and Stripe handles card payments. EditText does not receive your Google password or store full card numbers or card security codes.
Why we use it
We use information to provide edits, save your work, manage access and billing, respond to support requests, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. We do not treat agreement to the Terms as consent for unrelated uses.
Service providers
Images and instructions are sent to AI processing providers to carry out your requests. Hosting, storage, authentication and payment providers receive information needed for their services. Uploading an image does not keep it solely on your device.
We may disclose necessary information to meet valid legal requirements or address fraud, security incidents or disputes. Do not upload another person’s sensitive information without permission and a lawful basis.
Cookies and browser storage
Essential cookies keep you signed in. Browser storage holds editing drafts and preferences; you can clear it in browser settings. The site loads Google Fonts, which receives connection information. The current application has no advertising or analytics trackers.
Storage and deletion
Saved images and account records support your use of the service. Deleting an image removes it from normal account access and starts cleanup. Billing, security, backup or provider-held records may remain where needed or legally required; deletion is not necessarily immediate across every system.
Security and processing locations
We restrict access to private content and keep service credentials out of the public interface. No online service is completely secure. Providers may process information outside your country; applicable transfer requirements must be met.
Your choices and rights
You can remove images, clear browser storage, sign out and manage your subscription. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of personal information, object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent and complain to a regulator. Legal exceptions may apply.
